z

Release of the car to the exhibition in the Great Victory Day Patriotic War (Second World War).

In this composition used at the time the most advanced technology and design of the body: fastback with smooth sidewalls without wheel niches, electric stop-signals and the turn indicators, plastic decor items in the cabin. As usual, after some time this car was modified - connective facilitating disappeared over rip bumper, a little changed the radiator grille.

It also issued a Convertible and M-72 all-wheel drive version with increased ground clearance. Occasionally back copies with six-cylinder engine from the GAZ-51 truck. In 1950 years, the car was a sign of prestige and consistency of its owner. In those years, it went only professors from university, rich students and rich richer party workers, those who could not afford GAZ-12.
